Espinho International Art Biennial is an initiative organized by the Municipality of Espinho through the Espinho Municipal Museum that every two years intends to set up a wider platform for the dissemination and promotion of plastic arts, as well as of recognition of plastic artists. The Biennial stands as a reference event from Espinho Municipal Museum, in what major national and international art exhibitions are concerned, having also established itself as the ‘brand image’ of the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso's Galleries, the Museum’s art exhibition space.
The 8th edition which will take place between june 16 and august 30, will hold the competition exhibition in the galleries of Espinho Municipal Museum and two other exhibitions of invited artists, in the galleries of the Espinho Parish Council and the Espinho's Multimedia Centre.
