Synopsis:

In the quiet of the night, he sings the alarm clock. It’s four and forty in the morning. It is time for fifteen bold men to prepare for one of the last days of the condemned artisanal fishing gear known as Arte Xávega.
Headed by Arrais da companha, Manuel Maria, side by side with the owner of the vessel, David Oliveira, and his wife, Carolina Tavares, these men advance towards Praia do Torrão do Lameiro in Ovar, uncovering the unpredictable of the night. They will hope that the sea will make it worth all this morning hustle and reward them with a good fishing haul. It’s two minutes at six in the morning and the first light of dawn begins to appear. The boat "Pedro and the fisherman” enters the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Pushed by the other "integrants” of the companionship, four men set off on a journey with the aim of leaving several metres of net and ropes into the sea.
After the return to earth begins a whole game of gestures and looks. Everyone knows the important role they play and where to put themselves to better help others. It’s like a play was about it. Ask that which has been uninterrupted for 19 years. How long will it be?
