"MAILART.PT" is an online platform for promoting and archiving international mail_art [ mail_art ] & mail_art [ art_by_mail ].

Sharing the same name, "MAILART.PT" is also a rotating international exhibition of mail_art, and its derivations, curated by the artist Monsenhor enVide neFelibata of the Teatro e Marionetas de Mandrágora company. This Exhibition is renewed on the 31st of each month and presents a selection of the most representative works of its genre and of renowned artists.

The goal of this project is to promote and educate the public about this art form through a strong pedagogical aspect.

The rotation of the works allows the revisitation and creation of new collections, confronting artists and epochs. This collection is also kept up to date in digital format on the platform www.mailart.pt and intends to become an object of study for the evolution of new plastic languages of these authors and their artistic careers, within the genre that is mail art.

The artist selected for the third edition of this show is John Foster (USA).
