Synopsis

Looking and thinking about the human is a complex but beautiful task. For, it is an infinite source. Our capacity for creativity and reinvention distinguishes us from the rest of animal life.
Some of my works symbolically crystallize some details of what defines us. Both positively and otherwise. In Plato's Cave Myth, always up-to-date, I question the fact that human beings, out of self-indulgence, shy away from the intellect. Today, in the global information age, knowledge seems to be more and more superficial...
In KHRONOS, space-time is managed by a dimensionless machine.
ANTÍGONA, an example of feminine and human resistance to adversities.
With METAMORPHOSIS, the reflection is about human ingenuity and its capacity for reconstruction.
NO LIMIAR DA RAZÃO, DOS SONHOS E, DA VAIDADE, transports the reflection to dichotomies such as reason and madness; the real and the fantasy; and the very current dilemma "health or appearance" (they are not always opposed..., but the tyranny of image often undermines the former).
Finally, in FAITH II I asked myself about hope and faith (in ourselves), specific characteristics of our species. They feed our resilience. They open new horizons and consequently new experiences.
